In 2015, Banksy conceived “Dismaland”, a month-long pop-up exhibition held in Somerset, England. A dark twist on the original Disneyland brought to life by Walt Disney, the “theme park” featured scenes and artworks characteristic of Banksy’s satirical and subversive street art. Dismaland attracted over 150,000 visitors from all over the world, with visitors often waiting for hours to get in and experience the “magic” for themselves.
